We felt that tires being the only contact points between the road surface and fast moving motorbike are very critical in road safety and have to be at optimal performance at all times. Given that tire air pressure is a critical factor for optimal tire performance and that the air is actually free, we felt strongly to create a device that is smart and easy to use to help in monitoring tire pressure. What differentiates your product from similar products out there? Most riders have encountered situations where they need to rush for an urgent appointment only to be stranded by a flat tire. A conventional Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS) for bikes could not alert the rider in advance conveniently because it requires the use of a separate receiver. With FOBO Bike, the rider will get an alert as soon as the tire pressure drops below a certain pre-set level and as long as the paired smartphone is within Bluetooth range (~~30m).
